Bloom and Grow: Patience

God is moving me and I can see him starting to work.

He has chosen some wonderful women to come along and walk this road with me.
Some stay only for a short part of the trip,  others are along for more of this path.
I am thankful for each of them. They have richly blessed my life to lead and guide me in the direction I need to go at this time.
I met with one such woman Saturday. It was a rich blessing to pour out and process with her. She was able to ask the hard questions and let me process. All this over a cup of tea.

She let me discover that I am free to adventure! I have nothing to tie me down.
She gave me these verses from Deuteronomy.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 16New International Version (NIV)
Remember how the Lord your God led you (as a child of Christ, He will show me the way) all the way in the wilderness these forty years, (this is talking about the relationship you have with Christ and how long you have walked with him) to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart (In this time God is testing me to see whether I will stay and trust Him or try to control what is happening), whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna (the word of God), which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness (where God is teaching me right now), something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you (to make sure that I get the best for me, God's best) so that in the end it might go well with you.

In this time I must wait patiently, Have lots of adventures and run after God like I have nothing holding me back. Letting God handle the rest of what is happening in my life.
