Life as I know it: New additions and frusterations

Being an adult is not all it is cracked up to be.

It's not easy to have a whole family as an adult.

My brother got married a month ago. I finally have a sister!

However he still can't stand my husband. 

In the five years of us having a relationship he never elaborated why. 

Come to find out he thinks my husband isn't a stellar guy.  (My brother had a relationship with my husband before we were engaged (based on the one guy I dated in high school).

Because of all this it is complicating my relationship with my mom as well as with my new sister. 

This whole situation is upsetting. 

My mom is stuck trying to please both of us. 

I'm over tiptoeing and people pleasing everyone, I want a relationship with my new sister in law.

I'm angry at my brother for causing this strife, and holding a grudge that is not necessary.

There is only so much rising that a girl can do.
