Bloom and Grow: Christmas (thoughts)

Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer.

Fun for all that children call, their favorite time of the year.

Christmas. 

One word that holds the hopes of many.

The way to the cross is through the cradle.

With all the hustle and bustle of the season we tend to miss the real message.
We are so busy that we forget the real reason,
 we are celebrating is a baby born in the manger over 2000 years ago.
What if we took time from our Christmas parties and celebrations to truly celebrate.

For myself Christmas is a hard time of year.
This year was the second Christmas with out my Grandpa and the fifth without my dad.
Their absence is felt at every family event.
It was a blessing to have them here on earth,
and heaven has gained a couple awesome angles.

My hope is this season we choose to celebrate the true reason.
