Life as I know it: Well laid plans?

A midst the struggle of watching my little brother battle cancer, there has been a gleam of light.

Part of that gleam was hoping to get him to transplant (which has now been postponed). 

The other part is my sweet boyfriend proposed after my graduation from Multnomah(in December).

There are many emotions that come along with this joyous occasion...

Excitement, at marrying the love of my life.

Fear, every what if has certainly come up.

Anxiety, what if my little brother doesn't make it?

Joy, for my friends that will stand with us as we promise to go the miles together.

Tears, as there will be loved ones missing but present in our minds.

I find myself in this unique situation. 

Trust me I'd like to be anywhere else.
